Yo, when you get your thyroid checked, make sure you tell your doctor to also check for Hashimoto's disease. My doctor didn't check mine for over a year. Even if they disagree, push it. It could save you months of time.
Your thyroid might be low/high when they check it with the regular test but that could be because Hashimoto goes up and down all the time
