is it "oy vey" or "oi vey?"
my director wants me to perfect an accent that's "a blend of Russian-Yiddish-Brooklynese." Yeah. I can do that. Especially now that I am working with a dialect coach (a grumpy old man who in fact may actually predate dirt). This is hard work but I have to admit it's a blast.

i loooove to speak in a yiddish-brooklynese accent, although i'm not sure about the russian part. maybe you should watch some mike meyers doing linda richman on SNL... i think that would help!

You are cute! Don't you look all Donna Reed happy. I wish I could see the play but that would mean I'd have to live in Florida...not happnin. You and your family and friends have to be the only sane people there.
